All time record breaking snowfall in DC area - 2010:
We got 30 inches of snow. From Friday afternoon (Feb 05, 2010) till Saturday. The snow was wet and heavy, three pine trees in our backyard fell (snow#2).
Then on Tuesday night (Feb 9), another blizzard hit. The wind and snow kept blowing till the next evening. It dumped 15 more inches of snow (snow#3).
